The First United Methodist Church and Warren United Methodist Church Wrestling with Racism Team, along with the Pittsburgh District Anti-Racism Team, have been planning a trip to Washington, D.C. to the National Museum of African American History and Culture on March 29th, 2025. Participants will leave Pittsburgh on a chartered bus around 5:00 am on March 29th, arrive at the museum around 11:30 am, leave the museum after it closes at 5:00 pm, and return to Pittsburgh via the chartered bus by midnight on the 29th. To register for the trip, please contact Tracy Merrick or Karen Merrick. Please provide each participant’s full name and email address and indicate that you wish to go on the one-day trip. The deadline for registering is January 18, 2025.

Tickets cost $75, and payment for the trip will be due on January 31, 2025 at the latest. Scholarships are available.
