The Easter egg hunt will be held on the SUMC lawns between services on Easter Sunday (April 20). This requires many hands. We have two opportunities for volunteers:

  • At 9:00 am, we need people to hide eggs across the side lawns, front lawn, and playground. This is typically a chore handled with great energy by our youth, but we can’t ask them to hide eggs on a day many of them are being confirmed in the service. Youth not engaged in the confirmation are welcome.

  • At 10:00 am, we need adult chaperones on the lawns and playground as the kids go vigorously in pursuit of hidden gems. The children will gather in the Simpson Room following the 9:00 am service, move onto the lawn by 10:15, and finish before the 11:00 am service begins.

Anyone interested in helping with the Easter egg hunt should contact Bill Utterback.
