The community has been an integral part of a 2-year renovation project at St. Matthews (345 Thorn Street, Sewickley). The church invites the community to an open house on October 31, 1 – 4 pm, to tour the progress. Light refreshments will be served. For more information, call 412-741-4239.
The Borough of Sewickley is holding their Halloween parade on Saturday, October 30th, at 10 a.m. We would like to get as many church members as we can to walk in the parade carrying posters and signs thanking the community for 20 years of support for our pumpkin patch.
Please be advised that the next weekend closure of I-79 will be Friday, August 13th at 9 pm, and it will reopen on Monday, August 16th at 5 am.

Ivy International Group is looking for host families for the 2021-2022 school year. The students will be attending the Sewickley Academy.
Congratulations to Rev. Jeff Canter who was received into full membership as an Associate Member during Annual Conference on June 18.
Please be advised that I-79 northbound will be closed entirely beyond Exit 64 starting Friday, July 9th at 9 pm and remain closed until Monday, July 12th at 5 am.
Work begins June 17 on Route 65 and will continue through June 2022.

Sustainable Sewickley Electric Vehicle Advocates hope to see you at the Sewickley United Methodist Church parking lot on Saturday, June 5th!
(and skateboards, scooters, etc.) This Community-wide event is being held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in partnership with Child Health Association of Sewickley and Communicycle on Saturday, June 5, 10 am to 1 pm.

Saturday March 27 - Thursday April 1, 7:00 am - sunset. Participation is free for residents. Only glass bottles, jars, and jugs are accepted. Lids and labels may remain on containers, and color separation is not necessary.
