Before you help someone, do you first consider if they are worthy of it? Do you look at their lives and their actions and declare it is worth your time, energy, and resources? I, for one, am glad that Jesus did not consider my wrongs before He did what had to be done to make me right. Does this mean we could be wasting our time sometimes? Yes. Does this mean we could be taken advantage of sometimes? Yes. But fairness is not a word that is found in the Christian vocabulary. Humility, service, compassion; those are words we follow. Those are the characteristics of Christ. Join us as we stay upright and help others to do the same through reaching out in compassion toward others.
