Life is crazy. There is so much work to be done. For most of us, that work never ends. We might punch out at the end of a day and leave some work behind, but then a different type of work picks up. We have relationships to nurture and households to care for. Maybe what we are caring for is ourselves. I like Jesus’s answer to a busy day: go take a nap. Today we are going to act like we are all watching the service from the comfort of our couches again. Wear your pajamas; bring a snack or your favorite stuffed animal. Today, we are going to rest.
