What’s in a promise? The answer to that question is our integrity. How much people can trust us and how dependable we are has everything to do with our ability to keep our promises. But the truth is sometimes we will fail at keeping our promises. That is why, ultimately, our hope is not in our own words but in the everlasting words of God. It is on the promises of God we stand.
