Have you ever tried to have a conversation with someone about a topic that you know little about, but they are clearly very passionate about? You care about this person. You want the conversation to continue. But what do you say? The best thing to do in these situations is to ask questions and listen. We spend a lot of time talking about the Holy Trinity and the true nature of God, but who really knows all the answers? The truth of knowledge begins when we admit our ignorance and prep our ears for listening. Only when we admit we don’t know will we be ready to learn.
