To stand upon something is to trust that it is going to hold you. As we graduate, move from one area to another, get new jobs, leave our family, go out on our own, take some big steps; we might find ourselves on shaky ground with shaky knees. However, to trust in the Lord is to stand upon solid ground. To trust in the Lord is to have confidence right where we are, even if we don’t have confidence in where we are going.
