On February 9th, our congregation will help Tackle Hunger by celebrating the Souper Bowl of Caring.
Did you know as a United Methodists we are invited to participate in connectional giving? It is through our connectional giving that we are able to accomplish something much bigger than our church can do on its own.
The Sewickley Community Food Pantry continues to serve more families who need help with food. In January the greatest needs are pasta, pasta sauce, pancake mix, and syrup. Paper products are also welcome.

On Saturday, November 16 and December 14 from 9:00 – 10:30 m, SUMC’s Outreach Committee will provide volunteers for the weekly produce distribution in Northview Heights.
Help families have warm, nutritious meals this fall. The Sewickley Community Food Pantry is seeking soups, meat-based stews, beans, spaghetti sauce, and pasta this month.
The Sewickley Community Food Pantry continues to need child-friendly foods during the summer months, especially pasta sauce, tomato sauce, pancake mix, syrup, ketchup, mayonnaise, cooking oils, peanut butter, jelly, and jam.

We are collecting Easter Bags for the food pantry. You are asked to take a bag with the grocery list attached, purchase the non-perishable items, and return the filled bag with the list attached.

In January, the greatest needs are canned fruit, jars of applesauce, cold cereal, boxed (shelf-stable) milk, ketchup, mustard, mayo, and salt.
