In keeping with this year’s “Food Truck” theme, the VBS children will assemble weekend food bags for children who participate in summer learning programs at The Bridge (formerly Bethany House) in Northview Heights and blessing bags for the homeless who are served by the Daily Bread ministry in Pittsburgh’s North Side.

UMCOR is continuing its work to relieve distress in many parts of the world. It is actively providing direct relief—including food, water, shelter, and medical assistance—to Ukrainians who remain in country and to those who have fled to other parts of Europe.

UMCOR is collaborating with a Texas-based humanitarian organization focused on Ukraine and Ohio Health to send 47,895 pounds of medical supplies and equipment worth $935,000 to two hospitals in Kyiv, Ukraine.
