The United Women in Faith (UWF) invites everyone to join them for a luncheon meeting on January 14 at noon, at Carmody’s Grill, Neville Island.
The Pittsburgh District of the UMC invites you to participate in a hands-on CPR class being taught by Chris Galbreath, a certified EMT.
You are invited to spend the day building your skills in recognizing, responding to, and supporting someone who is experiencing a mental health challenge or crisis.
Throughout January, we will continue to assemble snack packs for children who participate in learning programs at The Bridge/Hub in Northview Heights and blessing bags for the homeless who are served by the Daily Bread ministry on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
Human Relations Day is a denomination-wide Special Sunday designed to celebrate and raise awareness to further the development of better human relations by involving congregations in community and youth outreach.
Thank you for the outpouring of generosity during the Christmas season as we collected items and asked people to shop for children!
Everyone is invited to celebrate the life of Atleah Grubb on Sunday, December 18, at 2:00 pm at SUMC. A funeral luncheon will follow in the Simpson Room.
December 18, beginning at 9:45 am, there will be a Breakfast for Jesus, and everyone is welcome!
The funeral service for Lyric Keys and Jack Wylde Lightner is planned for Wednesday, December 21, at 11 am, followed by a luncheon in the Simpson Room.
